Chamber Ready to Work With New Parliament, KEBE Says

KEBE has pledged close cooperation with the new parliament, urging joint action between policymakers and the business community to address mounting economic and global challenges.

The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KEBE) has expressed its readiness to work closely with the newly elected House of Representatives, stressing the need for cooperation in a challenging international environment.

In a statement, KEBE’s president and board members congratulated the newly elected MPs and wished them success in their duties.

The organisation said it expects the new parliamentary term to deliver productive work and responsible decision-making, with a focus on reforms and policies that meet the needs of both the economy and society and support sustainable growth.

It underlined that, amid increasing global challenges and ongoing geoeconomic developments, closer cooperation between the state, parliament and the business community is more necessary than ever.

KEBE reaffirmed its willingness to collaborate substantively with the new parliament, offering evidence-based positions, constructive proposals and responsible recommendations aimed at strengthening economic competitiveness, supporting business growth and promoting social cohesion.

According to the statement, the chamber will continue working consistently towards:
