Vartkes Mahtesyan and Antonella Lydia Mantovani have been elected unopposed as the Religious Group Representatives of the Armenian and Latin communities respectively in the 2026 elections, the Ministry of Interior announced on Wednesday.
Their election will be formally declared by the Registrar of Religious Group Representatives, Dr Eliккos Ilia. No second candidate came forward for either community seat, triggering the automatic declaration provided for under electoral law.
