The date for a meeting between the President of the Republic and the Turkish Cypriot leader has been set, as part of continued efforts to sustain dialogue on the Cyprus problem. The meeting is aimed at supporting conditions for the possible resumption of substantive negotiations.

Date, time and framework of the meeting

The meeting between Nikos Christodoulides, President of the Republic, and Tufan Erhürman will take place on Tuesday, 24 February, at 11:00.

It will be held under the auspices of the United Nations, following the relevant coordination and within the dates that had been proposed for arrangement through the Greek Cypriot negotiator.
