The Administrative Court annulled the renewal of Aristotelous’ suspension, ruling that the Public Service Commission (PSC)’s decision to extend her initial three-month suspension by an additional two months was “manifestly unlawful.”
According to a statement by Christos M. Triantafyllides LLC, the law firm representing Aristotelous, the ruling effectively allows her to resume her duties.
The case has been set for hearing on October 20, 2025, for subsequent procedural steps.

The statement noted that on October 3, the PSC extended Aristotelous’ original three-month suspension, which expired that day, by another two months. The initial suspension decision had already been challenged before the Administrative Court, where the appeal remains pending.
On October 8, Aristotelous filed a new appeal against the PSC’s latest decision, while also submitting a separate application requesting a court order to suspend the extension.
After reviewing the evidence presented by her legal team, the Administrative Court issued an interim order, suspending the PSC’s decision.
In its ruling, the Court stated that it was granting “a temporary order suspending the execution and/or implementation of the Public Service Commission’s decision dated 03/10/2025.”
