A partly cloudy day is expected across Cyprus, with isolated showers possible and a small chance of a short, isolated thunderstorm during the morning, mainly in the west and the north.
Winds will blow from the southwest to northwest at moderate to locally strong levels, reaching 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be slight to moderate and initially moderate along the western and northern coasts. Temperatures will reach around 22°C inland and on the coasts, and 10°C in the higher mountains.
Tonight’s outlook
Cloud cover will increase locally at intervals. Winds will shift to northwesterly to northeasterly, light and briefly moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will gradually become smooth to slight. Temperatures will fall to 10°C inland, around 11°C on the southern and eastern coasts, 12°C on the western and northern coasts and 4°C in the higher mountains.
The days ahead
On Tuesday, periods of increased cloud are expected, with the possibility of isolated showers mainly in the mountains. Wednesday and Thursday will be partly cloudy and at times mostly cloudy. Temperatures will remain stable over the three-day period and slightly above the seasonal average.
