Homeless Woman Found Dead in Coastal Area of Paphos

A middle-aged woman believed to be a foreign national was found dead early on Monday near the Poseidonos coastal avenue in Kato Paphos, with police excluding the possibility of criminal activity.

A woman was found dead on Monday morning near an abandoned building in the coastal area of Paphos, police confirmed. According to initial information, the woman was a homeless foreign national.

Her body was discovered shortly after 6am on Poseidonos Avenue by a woman on her way to work. Police and an ambulance arrived at the scene, and the woman was transferred to Paphos General Hospital, where doctors confirmed her death.

Police said the woman had no external injuries, according to preliminary examinations. Authorities are focusing on the possibility of a sudden death while continuing investigations to establish her identity.

A post-mortem examination will determine the exact cause of death.
