Mostly Clear Conditions with Rising Temperatures, Showers Expected from Thursday

Weak high pressure is currently influencing the area, while low pressure is expected to approach gradually from Thursday. From Tuesday onwards, thin dust may be present intermittently in the atmosphere.

Today

The weather will be mostly clear overall, with increasing high cloud developing gradually. Winds will blow from the northeast to southeast, light to moderate at 3-4 Beaufort, locally strengthening along the coast to 4-5 Beaufort at times. The sea will be slightly rough in general, becoming rough at times along the northern, eastern and southern coasts.

Temperatures will rise to around 17°C inland, about 19°C along the southern and eastern coasts, around 20°C along the western and northern coasts, and about 11°C in the higher mountain areas.

Tonight

Increased high cloud is expected. Winds will shift from northwest to northeast, locally southeast, remaining light to moderate at 3-4 Beaufort and temporarily moderate along the coast at around 4 Beaufort. The sea will remain slightly rough, becoming rough at times in the north and east.

Temperatures will fall to around 8°C inland, about 13°C along the eastern coast, around 11°C on the remaining coasts and approximately 4°C in the higher mountains, where frost is expected to form locally.

Tuesday and Wednesday

The weather will remain mostly clear, with periods of increased high cloud.

Thursday

At intervals, increased medium and high cloud will be observed. From the afternoon onwards, conditions over the western half of the island will turn mainly cloudy, with isolated showers developing.
