Temperatures Rise but Showers Persist Through Green Monday

A weak high-pressure system is affecting the region, bringing slightly warmer conditions while maintaining the possibility of scattered showers through the weekend and into Green Monday.

Friday forecast

Today, the weather will be partly cloudy at intervals. Winds will blow from the northeast to southeast, light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, and the sea will be slightly rough.

Temperatures are expected to reach around 20°C inland and along the coast, and 11°C in the higher mountains.

Tonight, conditions will be mostly clear. Winds will remain mainly northeasterly to southeasterly, light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, with the sea remaining up to slightly rough.

Temperatures will drop to around 7°C inland, 11°C along the coast and 3°C in the higher mountainous areas, where frost is expected to form locally.

Weekend outlook

On Saturday, Sunday and Monday, the weather will be partly cloudy, with isolated showers expected during the afternoon hours.

Temperatures will rise slightly on Saturday, climbing above average seasonal levels. From Sunday onwards, a gradual decrease is expected, bringing temperatures closer to climatological norms.

At the time of issuance of the bulletin, snow depth at Chionistra stood at 4 centimetres.
