The 18th Rose Festival in Agros will take place over two weekends, on 9–10 and 16–17 May, bringing together visitors for one of the most established rural events in the Limassol district. Organised annually by the Agros Community Council, the festival centres on the locally cultivated rose, a product closely linked to the area’s identity and traditional practices.
Activities and experiences
Throughout the festival, visitors will have the opportunity to explore local workshops and learn about the distillation process of roses, a key element of the village’s production. An exhibition dedicated to the rose, alongside small stalls offering traditional products, will be open to the public. Food and drink will also be available, reflecting local flavours and recipes.
Cultural programme
The event will include traditional music and dance performances taking place throughout both weekends. Visitors can also take part in guided experiences within the village, including access to local points of interest. A community train will operate during the festival, offering short tours around the area.
