Residents and visitors will have the chance to enjoy five evenings of open-air cinema with free entry, as part of the Summer Cinema Festival organised by the Municipality of South Nicosia-Idalion. From 27 to 31 July 2026, the Idalion Municipal Amphitheatre will host screenings of popular films for children and adults, with all screenings beginning at 8.30pm.

Attendance guidelines
The Municipality reminds the public that children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult, and notes that it bears no responsibility for unaccompanied children during the screenings. The Summer Cinema Festival is organised by the Culture Committee of the Municipality of South Nicosia-Idalion.
