Step into the world of Cypriot craftsmanship, where every thread, brushstroke and chisel tells a story. #CraftingCyprus is a vibrant series of short films by director Filep Motwary, produced by the Cyprus Ministry of Culture in collaboration with the Press and Information Office (PIO). The series brings to life the island’s timeless crafts, from embroidery and weaving to ceramics, silversmithing and mosaics.

Each film follows the journey of makers at work, letting their stories unfold naturally. Through conversations and shared moments with artisans, historians and contemporary creators, viewers are invited to experience the textures, rhythms and inspirations behind every piece. #CraftingCyprus bridges past and present, showing how age-old skills continue to shape new ideas and visions.
