On 2 December, The Landmark Nicosia, Autograph Collection, part of the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio, opens its doors and reintroduces one of the capital’s most historic buildings as a contemporary destination for hospitality, culture and business.

MHV Mediterranean Hospitality Venture unveils its most prestigious project to date, marking the first appearance of the Autograph Collection brand in Cyprus. The hotel stands on a site long associated with the political, diplomatic and social history of the island. This legacy forms the foundation of its guiding creative concept, The Do’s of the Diplomat, a narrative that connects the building’s past with the confident, modern identity of today’s Cyprus.

A new hospitality experience for Nicosia

The Landmark Nicosia brings an entirely new approach to hotel design and guest experience. Its interiors balance heritage features with international standards of comfort, offering refined accommodation, signature dining, lively bars and a full spectrum of leisure and wellness facilities. Across every floor and every space, the hotel introduces an atmosphere where simplicity, elegance and authenticity shape a distinct new lifestyle.

The hotel features 265 rooms and 18 suites, each designed with natural materials, warm earthy tones, generous layouts, premium amenities and discreet technology. A careful combination of nostalgic references and contemporary elements forms a “home-away-from-home” environment for business and leisure travellers.

Spaces with character and purpose

Among the hotel’s public areas are the Grand Room with its elegant salons and quiet corners, the Library and business centre, a series of specialised event and meeting venues, and a curated selection of luxury retail boutiques. The Incognito Bar offers an intimate evening setting, while the signature Magic Box installation displays historical objects linked to notable figures and moments.

Dining and social life at the heart of the capital

The hotel introduces several new culinary and social concepts to Nicosia. Sumosan, the acclaimed restaurant known for its Japanese fusion cuisine, makes its Cyprus debut. The Orangery returns in renewed form, reviving its role as one of the city’s meeting places, while Vetrina adds a new all-day experience combining coffee, wine and delicatessen culture.

Wellness, sport and relaxation

Two outdoor lifestyle pools set within aromatic gardens, along with a dedicated wellness floor, redefine leisure in the capital. The wellness level includes an indoor pool, relaxation zones, steam room, sauna, the Axis fitness centre, a yoga and pilates studio and a fresh-juice bar. Additional facilities include a tennis and padel court, the Sole Spa with its personalised treatments and an elegant beauty salon.

A new destination for Nicosia

With the opening of The Landmark Nicosia, Autograph Collection, the city gains a destination where hospitality, gastronomy, wellness, events and retail are brought together under one roof. The project reflects MHV’s commitment to creating exceptional properties that combine innovation, quality and respect for local heritage.
