For those staying in Nicosia this summer, the choices are more limited than usual. The only municipal pool currently operating is the Nicosia Municipal Swimming Pool, as the Aglandjia Municipal Pool remains closed for upgrade works and the Lakatamia Municipal Pool is also shut. Residents looking to cool down in the city must choose between the municipal pool and a small number of hotels and private complexes offering day passes to outside visitors.
Nicosia Municipal Swimming Pool
The most affordable option, the Nicosia Municipal Swimming Pool is open throughout the summer season and offers accessible pricing for individuals, families and organised groups.
Entry prices are as follows: children up to 5 years old enter free of charge; students, military personnel and university students pay €5; adults pay €6; a couple with two children under 18 pays €20, and a couple with three children under 18 pays €25. Organised groups such as birthday parties and summer schools are charged €3 per person, and sunbed rental costs €2.
For information, contact the pool on 22797647 or the Municipality on 22797000.
