This simple high-protein bread combines cottage cheese, oats, eggs and three types of seeds for a filling loaf that works well for breakfast or as a nutritious snack.
The recipe makes 16 slices of approximately 70g each, with every slice providing around 10.5g of protein.
Ingredients
- 500g cottage cheese
- 300g oats
- 3 eggs
- 50g pumpkin seeds
- 50g flaxseed
- 50g sunflower seeds
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
Method
Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a loaf tin with baking paper.
Place all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix thoroughly until evenly combined.
Bring the mixture together with your hands to form a dough, then transfer it to the prepared loaf tin.
Bake for approximately one hour, until the bread has developed a golden crust and is fully cooked through.
Allow it to cool before slicing.
