Police are urging the attention of drivers heading towards Troodos, due to increased traffic on the roads leading there.
According to police, heavy traffic is currently being observed on the Nicosia-Troodos road, near the communities of Akaki, Peristerona and Astromeritis, as well as on the Limassol-Troodos road, near the communities of Lania and Trimiklini.
Drivers are urged to be particularly careful and patient, to keep a safe distance from vehicles ahead, and to comply with the instructions of traffic police officers on duty.
