Several areas in Nicosia were left without electricity on Thursday morning due to a fault, with power expected to be restored around midday.
According to a table published on the Cyprus Electricity Authority (EAC) website, the affected areas include Agioi Trimithias, Engomi, Lakatamia (Archangelos – Anthoupolis area) and Strovolos (Chryseleousa area).
Electricity supply was cut at around 10:30am in all areas. Power is expected to be restored by 1:30pm in Agioi Trimithias and Lakatamia, while Engomi and Strovolos are expected to have electricity reinstated by 2:00pm.
