The Police have identified more than 40 points on the road network where there is an increased frequency of road collisions and where they are taking appropriate actions to protect road users. These points have already been mapped as part of the Police’s ongoing efforts to improve road safety and take appropriate measures aimed at preventing road collisions.
The classification of each point on the road network as dangerous was based on the number of road collisions that occurred at each point/area per year.
