The Municipality of Nicosia has announced that its temporary Green Points in Kaimakli and Agios Dometios will remain closed from 1 to 16 August 2026.
The closure is due to the summer shutdown of the licensed receiving facility and contractors responsible for collecting and removing materials.
Residents will be able to use the state-run Green Points free of charge during this period. The only exception is Saturday, 15 August 2026, when the state facilities will also be closed.
Strovolos Green Point
- Monday to Saturday: 7am to 7pm
- Sunday: 7am to 2pm
Green Points in Alambra, Ergates, Mallouda, Astromeritis, Kokkinotrimithia, Peristerona and Linou
- Monday to Saturday: 8am to 7pm
- Sunday: 8am to 2pm
