A minor wanted in connection with the theft of a vehicle from a car wash in Larnaca was arrested on Saturday by members of the Bicycle Police, authorities said.
The suspect is expected to appear before a court on Sunday for the issuance of a remand order.
According to police, a 43-year-old man reported the theft of his vehicle to the Larnaca Criminal Investigation Department on 16 September. He told investigators that the vehicle had been stolen the previous day while it was at a car wash.
Police subsequently secured court warrants for the arrest of two individuals in connection with the case.
At around 7.30pm on Saturday, officers from the Larnaca Bicycle Police located and arrested one of the two wanted suspects.
The suspect, a minor, was taken into custody.
The case is being investigated by Larnaca CID.
