Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has moved ahead with limited changes to his government, appointing a new alternate minister and three deputy ministers.
According to the announcement by government spokesman Pavlos Marinakis, Giorgos Kotsiras will take over as Alternate Minister for Transport.
Dimitris Markopoulos has been appointed Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance, with responsibility for tax policy, while Marilena Soukouli will serve as Deputy Minister of Environment and Energy.
Tasos Chatzivasileiou will return to government as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, with responsibility for European affairs.
The swearing-in ceremony for the new alternate minister and deputy ministers will take place on Friday, June 12, before President of the Hellenic Republic Konstantinos Tasoulas.
