Cyprus will continue providing humanitarian assistance to Botswana through Cyprus Aid, Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos said following his meeting with Botswana’s Minister of International Relations, Phenyo Butale, on Wednesday in New York, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
In a post on the X platform, Kombos said their discussion focused on ways to strengthen bilateral relations. “Cyprus will continue to provide via CyprusAid humanitarian assistance, including medical supplies required,” he wrote.

The Foreign Minister also met with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Jeyhun Bayramov. In a separate post, he noted that they had a frank exchange of views on a number of important current issues.
Earlier, Kombos said he had a “good exchange of views” with the Foreign Minister of the Maldives, Iruthisham Adam, on relations and opportunities to expand cooperation between the two countries.
