Voter intentions will clearly indicate political power shifts, the public state broadcaster has disclosed ahead of tonight's second edition of its poll, the first in a series of opinion analysis segments over the next six months in the run up to the May 2026 parliamentary elections, coinciding with the Cyprus EU Presidency.
Tonight's numbers will focus on voting trends, party prospects and political positioning, including how the former Auditor General's ALMA and the MEP Feidias Panayiotou newly formed Direct Democracy are faring in comparison to established groups.
'There will be surprising changes to the scenery, twists and upsets,' the deputy head of news said, without elaborating further on the results of the poll to be presented this evening, following the main news at 2000.
The 'political culture and voting behaviour' research has further recorded the public's views and trends on the Cyprus issue, quality of life, the economy, corruption, migration, traffic congestion and management as well as international and regional developments.
