The National Guard and the French Armed Forces carried out joint training in Cyprus aimed at strengthening coordination and preparedness in the face of modern security threats.
According to the General Staff of the National Guard, the activity took place within the framework of the Cyprus-France Bilateral Military Cooperation Programme and included a small-scale tactical field exercise, alongside specialised training on contemporary threats.
The training was designed to enhance interoperability between the two forces and improve their ability to operate effectively under realistic conditions.
The General Staff said the exercise also facilitated the exchange of expertise and further reinforced bilateral defence cooperation, contributing to the National Guard’s overall operational readiness.
