A series of Takata airbag recalls continue for Opel-Vauxhall vehicles, with a third announced today, adding to the October 17th recall and a second one just two days ago.

This time it involves 132 cars, with the local distributor asking owners to immediately immobilise their cars and book appointments to replace the killer airbags.

The recall was conveyed by the Road Transport Department, which informed affected drivers that their road tax and MOT suitability certificates have also been recalled.

It is further calling on all drivers to contact the distributor, CIC Automasters, for further instructions on how to proceed with replacement airbag appointments.
