An infant only a few months old was found unresponsive at the family home in Limassol during the early hours of Monday. The child was transported to Limassol General Hospital, where doctors confirmed the death.

Circumstances of the incident

According to the information provided, the parents awoke during the night and found the infant without signs of life. The child was immediately taken to hospital, where the death was certified.

Police sources stated that the case has been recorded as a sudden death. At this stage, authorities are not investigating further circumstances. The exact cause of death is expected to be determined following a post-mortem examination.
