Today

Partly cloudy to at times mainly cloudy conditions, with isolated showers possible along the coasts early in the day. From midday onwards, locally developed cloud is expected to give isolated showers, with a slight chance of an isolated thunderstorm, mainly in mountainous areas and parts of the eastern half of the island. Winds will blow south‑westerly to north‑westerly, light to moderate, at 3 to 4 Beaufort, locally strengthening to 4 to 5 Beaufort in western and southern coastal areas. The sea will be slight to moderate, becoming rough in the west early on. Temperatures will reach around 20°C inland and along the coasts, and around 8°C in the higher mountains.

Tonight

Mainly clear weather, with locally increased low cloud mainly along the coasts. Winds will remain light to moderate, at 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be slight in the west and north and calm to slight in the south and east. Temperatures will drop to around 10°C inland, 13°C along the coasts and 4°C in the higher mountains, where local frost may form.

Outlook

On Wednesday, mostly clear conditions with periods of cloud. After midday, isolated showers are expected, mainly in mountainous and inland areas. Thursday and Friday will be mainly clear.

Temperatures will rise gradually through Friday, reaching close to or slightly above seasonal averages.
