The village of Vavla will once again host its annual Musical Walk, returning for a fourth consecutive year on 16 May 2026. The event invites visitors to explore the village through a series of live performances set across public and private spaces. With free entry and a diverse programme, the initiative continues to position the village as a cultural destination.
Event concept and route
The Musical Walk is structured as an open-air experience, where visitors follow a mapped route through the village. Performances take place at multiple points, including narrow streets, squares and residential courtyards, with local residents participating by opening their spaces to the public.
The format allows audiences to move freely between performances, creating a continuous flow of music across the village.
Music programme and performers
This year’s programme includes eleven acts, covering a wide range of musical styles. The line-up blends familiar sounds with original compositions, drawing from traditions of the Eastern Mediterranean as well as jazz, soul, classical music and experimental sound.
Performing artists include: Alexa Michael, Eleonora Roussou and Odysseas Toumazou, Epea Pteroenta, En Fyī, Gian Van and Fotis Siotas, Michalis Siammas, Naz Atun, Panayiotis Loizou, Christos Fountos, DJ Vanesha and Ya Na Ma Na.
Parallel activities and local participation
Throughout the event, visitors will have access to street food options, a local products market and beverage stands offering cocktails, beer and wine.
The participation of local residents and businesses remains a central element of the event, contributing to its community-based character.
