As part of the Cypriot EU Presidency, students and educators from Technical and Vocational Education and Training schools created and installed six living green sculptures. The project involved collaboration between multiple schools and departments and culminated in the placement of the sculptures at the Presidential Palace and the Conference Center.

The project involved students from the Agronomy and Mechanical Engineering departments of the Regional Agricultural, Technical, and Vocational School of Famagusta/Avgorou, as well as the Agronomy department of Solea High School. According to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sport and Youth, these green sculptures serve as a remarkable example of creativity, collaboration, and experiential learning.

The sculptures were installed at two highly symbolic locations: the Presidential Palace and the Conference Center. Three of the six sculptures were placed at the Presidential Palace, while the remaining three were set up at the Conference Center.

The installation at the Presidential Palace took place on January 12, in the presence of Dr. Elias Markadji, Director of Secondary Technical and Vocational Education and Training, Andreas Grigoriou, Head of Presidential Administration; Christina Petroudi, Deputy Head of Presidential Administration and Elena Ktoridou, Presidential Administration Officer. Students and educators who contributed decisively to the project also attended. The initiative concluded on January 13 with the addition of the remaining sculptures at the Conference Center.

In a statement, the Ministry noted that the project highlights: "The dynamic role of Secondary Technical and Vocational Education and Training, the importance of cooperation between schools and institutions, and the active participation of students in creating works of high aesthetic, symbolic, and quality value. The dedication, responsibility, and enthusiasm demonstrated by the students and educators throughout the process are truly commendable, reflecting the exceptional commitment and creativity that define Cyprus’s vocational and technical education system".
