Limassol Greens is joining forces with Movember Cyprus to support men's health, bringing the community together for a special event on Saturday, 31 October 2026, from 10:00 to 14:00, at the Limassol Greens Driving Range. Taking place one day before the official start of Movember, the event will combine golf, entertainment and fundraising activities to raise awareness of prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health challenges, while encouraging men to take a more proactive approach to their wellbeing.
As part of the initiative, €10 from every green fee, along with a contribution from every bucket of balls purchased at the Driving Range on the day, will be donated to Movember Cyprus, giving golfers and visitors an opportunity to support the cause through their participation.
The event will feature the Movember Man Van, transformed into a mobile barbershop offering complimentary clean shaves for anyone ready to start growing their moustache for Movember. Visitors can also take part in "Nearest to the Mo", a special Driving Range challenge, enjoy a live radio broadcast, and visit the official Movember Cyprus merchandise stand.
The initiative marks the beginning of a month dedicated to raising awareness of some of the most pressing issues affecting men's health. Throughout November, Movember encourages men to grow a moustache as a visible symbol of support and a way to start conversations about men's health. The movement also highlights the importance of checking in on friends and family, recognising when someone may need support and making it easier for men to speak openly about their health.
Participation extends well beyond growing a moustache. Women, families, friends and colleagues are equally encouraged to get involved, whether by attending the event, making a donation, volunteering or helping spread the message.
