Traffic Disruption Expected in Limassol on Thursday Due to EU Foreign Ministers’ Meeting

Traffic arrangements will affect key roads in Limassol and on the Nicosia-Limassol motorway during the morning and afternoon rush hours.

 

Traffic measures will be in place in Limassol on Thursday, May 28, due to the informal meeting of EU foreign ministers taking place in the city as part of Cyprus’ EU Presidency programme.

According to police, traffic arrangements will be implemented from 7am to 9am on the Nicosia-Limassol motorway, as well as on the bypass road leading to the New Port of Limassol.

Similar measures will also be in effect between 3pm and 5pm, with police warning that traffic may be affected during those hours.

Drivers are urged to be particularly careful and patient, and to follow the instructions of police officers stationed at various points.
