Traffic delays were reported on Monday afternoon on the Nicosia-Limassol motorway after a lorry broke down near the Stavrovouni exit.
According to police, the vehicle was immobilised on the road towards Limassol due to a mechanical fault, prompting the closure of the left lane for safety reasons.
Traffic is temporarily being directed through the right lane, with vehicles moving at reduced speed in the area.
Drivers are being urged to remain cautious, keep a safe distance from other vehicles and follow police instructions until the lorry is removed and normal traffic flow is restored.
