A new development has emerged in a terrorism investigation being conducted by the Larnaca Criminal Investigation Department (CID), with the arrest of a third-country national who was transferred to Cyprus as part of a coordinated operation.
According to police, the suspect is being investigated for the same offences as those in the existing case, for which three people have already been remanded in custody.
The suspect appeared before the Larnaca District Court, which issued an eight-day detention order.
