Police have arrested two people in connection with an investigation by the Cyber Crime Sub-Directorate into audiovisual material reportedly livestreamed via a social media platform, in which individuals are seen urging another person to carry out acts that harm their dignity. The arrests were carried out under judicial warrants secured after police evaluated evidence gathered during the investigation.

The two individuals are expected to appear before a court today, where police will seek a remand order to hold them in custody. Investigations are continuing.
