Residents are invited to donate new or used school supplies in excellent condition at four locations across the capital from 2 to 8 September.
Now in its third year, Nicosia Municipality’s “Recycle and Share” campaign aims to support children and families ahead of the new school year.
What can be donated
Accepted items include school bags, pencil cases and stationery. All used items must be in excellent condition.
Under the slogan, “I take what I need, I give what I can,” residents may both donate school supplies and collect items they need.
The campaign will run from Wednesday, 2 September, until Tuesday, 8 September 2026, excluding the weekend of 5 and 6 September. Collection points will operate from 8.30am to 2.30pm.

- Nicosia municipal district: Pallouriotissa Old Market, 7 Agiou Andreou Street, 1048 Nicosia.
- Aglantzia municipal district: Former Aglantzia Town Hall, 8 Aikaterinis Kornaro Street, 2108 Nicosia.
- Engomi municipal district: 42 Kyriakou Matsi Avenue, 2409 Nicosia.
- Agios Dometios municipal district: Former Youth Information Centre, 20 Agiou Georgiou Street, 2369 Nicosia.
Nicosia Municipality called on residents to support the initiative by giving a second life to school supplies they no longer need and helping children and families prepare for the new school year.
