The wait is over for 5,139 candidates who sat this year's Pancyprian Access Examinations (Pancyprian Exams), with the Ministry of Education set to announce results and university placements on Wednesday morning.
The results will be presented during a press conference at 8:30am by Education Minister Athena Michaelidou and officials from the Examinations Service.
University placements to be revealed
Candidates will find out whether they have secured a place at one of Cyprus' public universities and which institution they will attend from September.
Of the total number of candidates, 341 were graduates from previous years who reapplied for admission to higher education.
Registration details to follow
Following the publication of the results, the University of Cyprus and the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT/TEPAK) are expected to issue information for successful applicants regarding registration procedures and preparations for the new academic year.
Applications for Greece open Friday
Examinations Service head Socrates Mylonas said all preparations for the release of the results had been completed.
He reminded candidates that they will need only their personal candidate number to access their results.
Students seeking admission to public universities in Greece will be able to submit applications through the relevant electronic platform from Friday, with the deadline set for 29 July.
Mr Mylonas urged applicants not to wait until the final days before submitting their applications and to carefully review their selections and personal details.
