Secondary school students will return to classrooms on Monday, 7 September 2026, while primary school pupils will begin lessons on Monday, 14 September, the Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth said.
The secondary education timetable covers both general secondary schools and secondary technical and vocational education and training.
Secondary school teachers will assume their duties on Tuesday, 1 September, while primary school teachers will return on Monday, 7 September.
