A US Secret Service agent assigned to protect Vice President JD Vance is under investigation over the alleged disclosure of confidential information.
The case relates to reports that revealed Vance had requested the use of a military helicopter to travel with his son to a golf course.
The investigation follows reporting by US network MS NOW, which claimed that members of Vance's security detail were frustrated by what they described as requests for private transport by the vice president and his family.
According to the report, Vance sought to use Marine Two, the helicopter assigned to the US vice president, for a trip to a golf course near Washington.
The flight was ultimately cancelled because of bad weather, but the request was reportedly one of several last-minute transport requests made by Vance and members of his family.
