A tremor measuring four on the richter scale was recorded at dawn today, with the epicentre located 23 kilometres north to northeast of Limassol, according to the Euromediterranean Seismological Centre initial measurements.
It was 13,1 kilometres deep and felt by locals and visitors across many areas of the coastal city and the surrounding district.
There have been no reports of damage.
