Flight disruptions continued on Monday at Larnaca Airport as regional tensions in the Middle East affect air travel to and from Cyprus. Authorities reported multiple cancellations involving routes to countries in the region.

In total, 38 flights were cancelled during the day, impacting both arriving and departing passengers.

Number of affected flights

According to airport data, 19 arriving flights and 19 departing flights were cancelled. The cancellations involve several airlines operating routes between Cyprus and destinations in the Middle East. Flights to and from countries including Israel, Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates were among those affected. The disruptions come as airlines continue to adjust operations due to the evolving security situation in the region.
