A weak low-pressure system is influencing the area, while thin dust is expected to enter the atmosphere from Friday.

The weather will be mostly clear at first, with increasing cloud cover developing in the afternoon. Isolated showers are possible, mainly over mountainous areas. Winds will blow from the south-west to north-west, initially light at 3 Beaufort, gradually strengthening to moderate at 4 Beaufort and, at times along southern coasts, up to strong at 5 Beaufort. The sea will be slight to a little rough.
Temperatures will rise to 25°C inland, 21°C on the west coast, around 23°C on the remaining coasts and 15°C in the higher mountains.
Overnight forecast
Conditions will remain mostly clear overnight, with patches of low cloud or light mist forming in some areas. Winds will turn north-west to north-east, and south-east along northern coasts, remaining light at 3 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to slight.
Temperatures will fall to 11°C inland, around 13°C on the coast and 5°C in the higher mountains.
Outlook for the coming days
On Thursday, the weather will remain mostly clear with periods of increased cloud.
On Friday and Saturday, conditions will turn partly cloudy at times, with a chance of isolated showers, mainly in mountainous areas. Dust will also be present in the atmosphere from Friday.
Temperatures are expected to rise slightly over the coming days, settling close to seasonal averages.
