The weather system causing heavy storms across the island, inundated a number of central Limassol areas early this afternoon, once again posing the question of inadequate drainage cleaning and maintenance.

A number of amateur videos are circulating on social media with extensive flooding of several roads and water accumulating in front of homes and businesses.

No calls for assistance were placed to the fire service.
