More than 200 titles are included in the finalised list of candidate works for the State Literature Awards for 2025 publications, incorporating the amendments that arose during the objections period, which began on 18 May 2026 and ended on 8 June 2026.
Breakdown by category
According to an announcement issued by the Deputy Ministry of Culture, 62 works are included in the poetry category, 16 in the folk poetry category and 36 in the novel/novella category, while one work is referred to the Judging Committee following the submission of an objection.
The short story category includes 24 works, the study/essay on literature category 4 works, the new writers category 7 works and the literature for young children category 43 works.
Finally, the literature for older children and adolescents category includes 15 works, while the illustration category includes 23 works.
