Cyprus has reiterated a warning to its nationals against traveling to Iran, confirming that a travel advisory, issued almost two years ago, remains in place.
The Foreign Ministry in Nicosia advises all Cypriot citizens intending to travel to Iran to cancel such plans due to the current regional situation and recent developments.
The advice date is August 5th, 2024.
Cypriot citizens living, working or visiting the country are advised to remain vigilant, follow developments closely, monitor information from international and local media, and apply maximum security measures.
They are also advised to register on the online platform for Cypriot nationals abroad, Connect2CY.
