A new meeting between President Nikos Christodoulides and Turkish Cypriot leader Tufan Erhürman will take place on Tuesday, 13 October, at 3.30pm, Government Spokesman Konstantinos Letymbiotis announced.
According to a post by Letymbiotis, the meeting will be held under the auspices of the United Nations.
The Government Spokesman said the Greek Cypriot side remains focused on achieving meaningful progress towards the resumption of negotiations within the agreed framework for a settlement of the Cyprus issue.
He added that the UN Secretary-General remains personally committed to efforts to restart the negotiating process.
The meeting follows contacts held in recent weeks and comes ahead of a visit to Cyprus later in October by the UN Secretary-General's personal envoy, María Ángela Holguín.
