Police arrested a 50-year-old man in Limassol on Thursday night after he was found on the rooftop of a business premises and allegedly had burglary tools in his possession.
Officers went to the premises at around 8.30pm while investigating information they had received. When they arrived, they found the man on the roof, where he had already been detained by the security guard.
A bag found in the 50-year-old’s possession contained various burglary tools, as well as two hoods, according to police.
He was arrested for an offence committed in the act and was taken into custody. He is expected to appear before court today for a remand order.
The Limassol Minor Offences Department is continuing investigations.
