A serious road traffic accident occurred on Thursday morning on the Paphos–Limassol motorway, leaving one person critically injured.
The incident took place near the Sotira exit, just beyond the tunnel, where a worker carrying out duties on the motorway was struck by a passing vehicle.
The condition of the injured worker is described as serious.
According to police, two traffic lanes will remain closed from the Paramali exit up to the Sotira exit.
Drivers are urged to use the Episkopi exit towards Limassol, exercise particular caution, drive at low speeds and maintain safe distances from vehicles ahead.
