Water Cut Hits Limassol Community as Repairs Continue

A fault on a central water pipeline has disrupted supply in part of Mouttagiaka, with repairs expected to be completed by 20:00.

 

A water supply cut has been affecting a large area of the Limassol community of Mouttagiaka since Wednesday morning, following a fault on a central pipeline on Archbishop Makarios III Street.

According to an announcement by the Limassol District Local Government Organisation, the affected area is enclosed by the following streets: Kyriakou Matsi, Konteas, Agiou Sergiou, Archangelou Michael, Limnou, Agiou Andronikou, Griva Digeni, Agiou Nikolaou, Agias Paraskevis, Archiepiskopou Makariou III, Agiou Eleftheriou, Evagora Pallikaridi, Michalaki Karaoli, Salaminos, Sotiros, Agias Varvaras, Kythreas, Ammochostou, Lysis, Demokratias and Akrita.

The organisation said repair crews are already at the site working to fix the fault.

The repair work is expected to be completed today, 27 May 2026, at 20:00.
