A new robbery targeting a delivery driver took place on Wednesday afternoon in Nicosia, raising fresh concerns over the safety of workers in the delivery sector.
According to Police, at around 17:20, a 29‑year‑old delivery driver arrived at a location to deliver a food order when he was attacked by two unknown individuals.
The perpetrators allegedly stole cash and the victim’s mobile phone, before also taking his motorcycle and fleeing the scene.
CID Nicosia is continuing investigations in an effort to locate the suspects.
