Water supply problems or temporary interruptions may affect areas served by the water reservoirs of Mathiatis and Lythrodontas, the Nicosia District Local Government Organisation said on Tuesday.
According to the announcement, a fault in the Water Development Department’s system has temporarily halted the inflow of water to the reservoirs serving the two communities.
The organisation said it had been informed by the department that repair works are under way and are expected to be completed within the day.
