Heavy traffic was reported at around 12:30pm on the Nicosia-Limassol motorway near the Dali Industrial Area, affecting traffic heading towards Nicosia, Limassol and Larnaca.
The congestion is linked to cleaning works being carried out on the motorway's central reservation.
As a result, the right-hand lane remains closed in both directions near the Idali Industrial Area.
Police have urged motorists travelling through the area to exercise caution, drive at a safe and reduced speed, and maintain a safe distance from vehicles ahead.
